The Belfast City Mission held its 192nd Annual Rally Thursday 25th April 2019 in the Assembly Buildings Church House.

Our President Mr Ronnie Armour conducted the service with the worship led again this year by PS 150 from Mersey Street Presbyterian Church.

After the opening praise our Honorary Secretary Rev Denis Bannerman read the scriptures followed by prayer.

The guest singers for the evening were the Northern Ireland Centenary Boys Brigade Male Voice Choir who sang some familiar and uplifting hymns of praise.

The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland the Right Rev Charles McMullen extended greetings from the Presbyterian Church and also reflected over his moderatorial year linking to his theme of building relationships, something that the Belfast City Mission engages in on a daily basis.

The closing message was given by recently retired Minister Rev Brian McManus who is also now a member of the Governing Body of the Belfast City Mission. His message was challenging centred on the theme of “Our God Saves”, reminding us that it is not anything of ourselves but all of Him.

The evening ended in the singing of the hymn “Tell Out My Soul The Greatness Of The Lord”.
