As our city changes, as our communities change we strive to change with them. To adapt, to provide, to care, in a way that can be understood and is desired. We have faithful supporters who donate and help the work of the Belfast City Mission on a regular basis and we have those who offer what they can when they can, sometimes it’s only a one of gift but we appreciate all that is given to the work of the Lord. Legacy Donations

The aim of the Belfast City Mission is to reach the “Churchless, careless and the poor”. Since 1827 we have been putting the Gospel into practice by sharing with the people of Belfast!

We long to see the lives of those who have been left behind being transformed. What can you leave behind to ensure we are here for future generations? Having an up to date, professionally written Will that enables your family to know how to carry out your wishes accordingly after your death.

Leaving a legacy to the Belfast City Mission could really help us to make a difference! A gift in a Will, large or small, will be a legacy which lives on! Help us change people’s lives for years to come.

Standing Order Donations

Another way to donate is by using our Standing Order Template. Simply download our form,Standing order template, fill in your details and then return the two forms to your bank and our head office.

This is a great way of being able to provide a monthly, quarterly or yearly donation.

At any of our Halls

At each hall an offering is collected for the work of the Halls themselves, the work of the Mission in general and in support of other missional projects and outreaches both locally and further afield. You can donate by giving to any of the offerings at our Halls or directly to any of our missionaries at your local Belfast City Mission hall.

How to give more

If you are a UK tax payer you can make your gift worth 25% more by using Gift Aid.

If you are a UK tax payer, any donations you make to the Belfast City Mission can qualify for Gift Aid, which effectively increases the value of your giving. At present we are able to recover 25p from tax you have paid, on every £1 that you give under the Gift Aid scheme.

To give money under Gift Aid, you must pay enough Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax to cover the amount that we will reclaim. If you do not pay tax, you must not use Gift Aid.

There is no cost to you for taking part in the Gift Aid scheme. All you need to do is make a declaration stating that you are eligible and wish your giving to be treated as Gift Aid.

If you are a UK tax payer and would like the Belfast City Mission to recover the tax on your giving, please include your address when you donate.
